The Brief
To consolidate and upgrade the electrical power supply to commercial construction business.
The Activity:
With thoughts moving towards getting St. Astier ready to covert to renewable technology solutions in the very near future, Tomlinson Longstaff were invited to upgrade the mains supply within the site, consolidating 3 distribution boards, contained within the mains cupboard, into 1 and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The team worked out of hours to minimise any disruption to the running the business and competed the job on time and within the budget set.
The Result:
The mains electrical power supply for the site is now neatly contained in one space efficient unit, and installed to a 250A rating, allowing future upgrades to accommodate electrical vehicle charging unit power supply.
The implementation of the materials (supplied by Park Electrical and City Electrical Factors) also allowed the business to be prepared for solar pv panels which are planned to be installed in the very near future.
