On April 7th we celebrated Tomlinson Longstaff being in business for 50 years!
We’re so grateful to our customers, our team and suppliers for keeping us going with contracts, parts, and plenty of cups of tea.
We’ve not stopped for breath yet this year, but there are some celebrations due very soon for the whole team.

Turning up the heat for the Scouts…
Ferryhill Scout Leaders had a huge dilemma – how to heat their hall efficiently, quickly and without breaking the bank.
With the added issue that the hall wasn’t in constant use, this made the challenge of turning the heating on and off even more complex.
Luckily the TL team were on hand to advise them on the best energy efficient solution, remove & dispose of the older gas run system, and get the new infrared solution installed so they could feel the benefits immediately.
Service Highlight – Exterior Lighting
The safety and security of pupils, parents/carers and staff has to be a main priority at any place of education, and West Rainton Primary School is no different.
With newly extended hours of care provision by the nursery, supporting their families’ needs and boosting the financial security of the nursery, it was imperative that anyone entering the nursery facility after daylight was looked after.
The installation of new external gable end lighting provided the necessary visibility, as well as an energy efficient and low maintenance solution for the school, meaning a win all round.
