The Brief
Rewire of 3 student accommodation houses.
The Activity:
In conjunction with a full multiple bedroom, kitchen and bathroom refurbishment for 3 houses of multiple occupation being carried out by T. Manners & Sons, Ltd., Tomlinson Longstaff were required to carry out a partial rewire to accommodate the extensive alterations to modernise and create appealing and compliant student surroundings.
The premises are based in the centre of Durham City presenting some access challenges to the team, compounded by a short window for completion to ensure all works were completed and presentable for the students arrival in September.
The Result:
The rewire ensured the efficiency of powering the new kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and study areas installed, as well as ensure compliance and safety of the students.
